Yes, I also have a teaching degree and years of experience running art workshops without anyone losing an eye.

 

Yes, I am experienced in hosting arts, music events. You've probably been to one and not known it was me masterminding it.

 

While I wear many creative hats, none of them currently come with a full-time salary attached. So please, don’t be shy — reach out with opportunities, commissions, collaborations, or mysterious well-paid projects.

 

If you know anyone in the arts, you’ll understand the math: the hourly rate can look impressive… right up until you multiply it by “sporadic.”

Sam McNair is a professional caricaturist, illustrator, exhibition/event manager, exhibition installer, mural artist, art teacher.

Based in NSW (and sometimes Northern Europe) Sam’s has a wide variety of arts experience.
Sam's political cartoons have been  published in the City Hub, South Sydney Herald, The Independent and Michael West.

As an illustrator Sam has created event posters, logos, album & book covers.
 

In the role of illustration educator Sam has a BA in education and years of experience teaching illustration for stage two to adult students at Art Est, Mosman Gallery, Gateways, Bright Futures and the North Sydney Community College.

Sam has published a monograph of re-imaginings of Pieter Bruegel the Elder's 16th century etchings. Named After Bruegel which is available online and in bookstores in Sydney, Melbourne, Newcastle, Utrecht, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Barcelona and Berlin.
 

Previous to his career as an Artist Sam worked in television and home entertainment at National Geographic Channel, Deluxe, Sony DADC and Technicolor.
